Niagara Framework® 4.15u4 and 4.14u5 – General Availability
May 2026

Tridium has announced the General Availability (GA) of Niagara Framework® 4.15u4 and Niagara Framework® 4.14u5. These releases deliver a combination of new functionality, platform enhancements, security improvements, and defect corrections.

With this release, Niagara 4.15 becomes the active Long-Term Support (LTS) version, officially replacing Niagara 4.10. Customers are encouraged to align future deployments and upgrade strategies accordingly.

At Forest Rock, we remain committed to supporting Niagara throughout its lifecycle and to delivering secure, reliable solutions to our customers. In line with Tridium’s ongoing development roadmap, these maintenance updates are recommended for all supported systems and form part of a continued focus on security hardening, platform stability, and long-term product quality, delivered through regular and predictable maintenance releases.


Niagara Remote

Customers running Niagara 4.15u4 with an active Niagara Remote™ subscription are eligible to participate in the FoxC beta, which provides secure, cloud‑mediated station‑to‑station connectivity.

Niagara Cloud Suite™ Evaluation Form

The Niagara Cloud Suite Evaluation gives qualified registrants the opportunity to access and evaluate Tridium's Niagara Cloud Suite commencing in accordance with the Evaluation Agreement terms. To apply for the opportunity, please complete the form below.

Eligibility:

  • Participation is limited to entities that hold an active account on the Niagara Licensing platform at the time of enrollment and throughout the evaluation period.

  • Demo licenses are eligible for evaluation purposes only.

  • Active SMA not required for evaluation purposes.

Prerequisites:

  • The Niagara instance must be running the latest supported version of Niagara Framework. FoxC beta participation requires version 4.15u4 or later.

  • FoxC beta participants must register at least two Niagara devices to enable device-to-device connectivity testing.

Niagara 4.15 introduces a wide range of enhancements focused on usability, connectivity, and enterprise‑grade security, including:

  • Modern HTML5 Web Views with the new UX Builder and Relations Manager

  • Fox over WebSockets for improved, firewall‑friendly communications

  • Common Access Card (CAC) authentication for browser-based access

  • Wi‑Fi support for JACE®‑9000 controllers

  • BACnet® Protocol Revision 18 support

  • New KitControl elementary function blocks

  • Case‑insensitive LDAP usernames for improved directory integration

  • Enterprise security enhancements, including:

    • Updates to Niagara Access

    • Support for the Z9 Open Flex Server

  • Enhanced connectivity in Niagara Remote™ with FoxC (beta participation available)

  • Hidden Gems and additional incremental improvements

  • New HTML5 Web Views for modern browser-based access

  • BACnet® Protocol Revision 16 updates

  • Certificate Signing Service

  • Individual and combined certificate signing requests

  • Brick Schema Tag Dictionary for improved semantic modelling

  • Multi‑tiered Security Dashboard

  • Google Authenticator (GAuth) enrollment workflow

  • New SAML authentication configuration options

  • Windows Authentication mode for Microsoft SQL

  • Public APIs for unit testing

  • Hidden Gems and additional incremental enhancements
